This region of the spanish coastline has a ‘microclimate’ which gives a mean average temperature of 19ºC providing pleasant warm summers which are not overbearingly hot (although sun worshippers may relish the months of August and September). The region is sheltered to the rear by the towering peaks of the Sierra Blanca mountain range which helps provide the mildly pleasant winters with rain being infrequent and mainly occurring in the months of November through to March.
